Vacuum Coatings Ltd has been in
business since 1948. We are specialists in high vacuum coatings and processes.
We have produced work, for advertising companies, architects, architectural
model makers, film companies, aerospace companies, television companies,
photographers and astronomers.
We specialise in gold, aluminium, nichrome (neutral density), titanium
(beam splitter/autocue), and magnesium fluoride (anti-reflection) coatings.
Our
customers are primarily business customers, most with accounts and payments
are made to Vacuum Coatings Ltd.
Vacuum Coatings Scientific Mirrors was started as a separate business
in 1994.
V C S M deals with the sale of telescopes, binoculars, astronomical supplies and accessories and the recoating of astronomical and photographic mirrors/prisms.This part of the business is non V A T registered and was set up primarily to cater for private customers .Payments with order, (or on collection), are to V C S M.
